The Gills are a soulful and energetic, indie rock band from Pensacola, Florida. After many changes in the line-up, there are currently four members of The Gills. The only original member of the Gills is lead-singer Jesse Wheeler, who is joined by his older brother Chris Wheeler and Matt & Andy Prince. The musical styles of the band fall into many genres, but the Gills are consistently described as "Contemporary indie rock with a heart deeply rooted in classic rock and blues".
