Jul 21, 1990 (34 years ago) Potsdamer Platz Berlin, Berlin, Germany
"The Wall - Live in Berlin" was a live rendition of Pink Floyd's "The Wall," just eight months after the fall of the Berlin Wall. The concert was organized and led by Roger Waters, the primary songwriter behind "The Wall," and served as both a commemoration of the Fall of the Berlin Wall and a celebration of freedom and unity for Berlin, Germany, and the world. Staged on the vacant terrain between Potsdamer Platz and the Brandenburg Gate where the Berlin Wall had previously stood, the concert attracted an estimated audience of over 350,000 people.
