That night was a mess, I was down in the seats close but had many friends on the lawn, some didn’t make it home with us , 1 had his mother pick him up near Danny’s Adult World 🤣 at 3am . I have a very good recording of the show if you want it.
My first "real" concert, o.l.p. sucked & got booed off stage. Once Van Hagar started playing, my drunken 14 year old brain was trying to comprehend why so many people were smoking rocks in strange little glass tubes.
May as well called it "Crackfest on the lawn featuring Van Halen", so many damn crackheads & coke nozzles.
