After performing on the New England progressive rock scene throughout the late 70s and 80s, Linda Chase and Dave Currier's band 3-Speed was signed to MCA records in 1985. 3-Speed cowrote, arranged, produced and performed 8 songs in major motion pictures, including the title song for Jim Carrey's first movie in which he had the leading role, "Once Bitten" for Samuel Goldwyn Jr.
