Daniel Caesar's 2017 Concert Photos

Daniel Caesar (born Ashton Dumar Norwill Simmonds, April 5, 1995, in Toronto, Canada) was born to Bajan and Jamaican parents and raised listening to soul and gospel music while singing in front of his father’s church congregation. At 17, he left home to pursue his calling as a musical artist. After independently releasing his first two EPs, Praise Break (2014) and Pilgrim’s Paradise (2017), to widespread praise, he co-founded the record label Golden Child Records with Matthew Brunett and Jordan Evans. He dropped his debut album "Freudian" on the label in 2017. It was followed by "Case Study 01" (2019) and "Never Enough" (2023). All three reached the top 20 on the Canadian Albums Chart. In 2021, he collaborated with Justin Bieber and Giveon on the single "Peaches," Caesar's first number-one hit in Canada, Australia, and several European countries. Caesar is 29 years old.
