Ed Sheeran (born Edward Christopher Sheeran, February 17, 1991) is a 33 year old singer-songwriter from Suffolk, England who rose to prominence in 2011 following the release of his first single "The A-Team," which sold over 800,000 copies by end of the year. It was included on his debut studio album, 2011's "+." Pronounced as "plus," the album was the first of five to consecutively top the album charts in the UK, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand. Some of Sheeran's number-one hit singles in the UK are "I Don't Care" (with Justin Bieber), "Sing," "Bad Habits," "Shivers," "Perfect" (with Beyoncé), "Shape of You," and "Thinking Out Loud."
