In 2002, Fenix*TX broke up due to creative differences between the members. Between 2004 and 2006, the band reunited for several tours, releasing the live album "Purple REigns in Blood" in 2005. In 2009, the band reunited once again, releasing an their second EP (and first as Fenix*TX) "CRE.EP" in 2016.
