James Franklin Concert History

James L. Franklin, Jr. was born December 29, 1989. His musical life started at an early age. James grew up in a neighborhood where two of the dominant forces were music and religion. He was heavily influenced by his grandfather, Calvin Leavy, who was a bass player for the renowned Zion Five. He's also nephew to the Fresno blues singer, Hosea Leavy. James got his start as keyboard player under the leadership of Pastor C.L. Kelly of the New Hope Baptist Church.
