English born, Scottish raised singer songwriter James Gillespie emerges as one of the most quietly explosive artists in recent memory. Following its UK premiere on Complex, 'What you do' has received effusive support from a string of taste maker blogs including Hilly Dilly and The Line of Best Fit ("With a vocal that could nestle into any collection alongside Hozier and Rag 'N' Bone Man, James Gillespie harnesses influences from blues and soul to create compelling and unique music").
