Jason & The Scorchers (originally Jason & the Nashville Scorchers) are a pioneering alt country and cowpunk band. founded by Jason Ringenberg in Nashville in 1981. The band has had several lineup changes since their formation, with Ringenberg (vocals) and Warner E. Hodges (guitar) as the only constants. The band has released six albums over the course of their career: "Lost & Found" (1985), "Still Standing" (1986), "Thunder and Fire" (1989), "A Blazing Grace" (1995), "Clear Impetuous Morning" (1996), and "Halcyon Times" (2010).
