M.I.R.V. is a mid 90's Bay Area based concept band started by ex-Limbomaniacs guitarist Marc M.I.R.V Haggard. As an initial studio project he worked with Les Claypool , and fellow Limbomaniacs' Pete Scatturo and Tony "house" Chaba. Later live show members included Craig McFarland drummer Jeff Gomes and vocalist/guitarist Bryan Kehoe. According to their bio, the acronym could mean Mutant Industrial Rock Vaudeville, which would be an apt description of their live shows.
