With a flirtatious wink to the Weimar-era cabaret of Kurt Weill, and spanning the German countryside from Marlene Deitrich to Kraftwerk, the band digs its heels anywhere from euro-trash dance to punk-rock theater, while managing to keep Texas on the map. Their wry and ridiculous stage shows leave audiences horny and tickled pink, if not tapping their feet and scratching their heads.
