Elle se rapproche ensuite de sa grand-mère maternelle, son héroïne, sa confidente, qui l’amène à développer sa pratique musicale. D’origine arménienne, elle met sur un piédestal Barbara ou Aznavour, en plus de l'influence de Patrick Watson, Agnes Obel, Billie Eilish et Tamino.
