Hailing from Tulsa, Oklahoma, Squelching (also known as Squelching OK) is a ferocious slamming deathcore/brutal death metal unit known for delivering heavily downtuned, unyielding sonic violence. Formed as a raw, DIY-focused project, the group—fronted by vocalist Jaden Pruitt alongside guitarists Jake Atkinson and Andrew Wright, bassist Payson Myher, and drummer Chris Mayhew—combines the suffocating chugs of brutal slam death metal with erratic, beatdown-heavy deathcore energy.
