Australia's Tex Crick writes melodic piano bedroom-pop with a soft heart and wry intelligence. Rising from small town roots on the country's south coast, he paved his way as a touring keyboardist appearing onstage with artists such as Connan Mockasin, Weyes Blood, Kirin J Callinan, John Carroll Kirby and before a chance encounter with Mac DeMarco in New York which led to the release of his solo debut Live In… New York City released on Mac’s Record Label in 2021.
