TobyMac (born Kevin Michael McKeehan, October 22, 1964, in Fairfax, Virginia) is a 61 year-old contemporary Christian musician who initially gained fame with the Christian rap group dc Talk before embarking on a successful solo career. His music, a vibrant mix of pop, hip-hop, and rock, often carries uplifting messages of faith and resilience. Hits like "Speak Life" and "Love Broke Thru" showcase his knack for crafting inspiring lyrics, while "Lose My Soul" and "Made to Love" delve into themes of purpose and spirituality. With "Help is on the Way" and "The Goodness," he reassures fans that hope is never far, and in "Promised Land," he explores the faith journey more intimately. The deeply personal "21 Years," a reflection on life after the loss of his son, adds depth to his discography. Albums like "This Is Not a Test" and songs such as "Everything" emphasize making the most of life, while "Til the Day I Die" reflects TobyMac's enduring dedication to his message and music.
