Born on December 13, 2001, in Lille, France, Zélie (Zélie Claeyssen) is an emerging French pop singer, songwriter, and dancer known for her intimate lyricism and highly physical, choreographed stage presence. With clenched fists, furrowed brows, intense and bubbling, Zélie sings and dances her strength and dominant sensitivity over energizing, raw tracks with electronic sounds. Wordy and personal, her songwriting is among those that capture attention through its astonishing universality in the face of so much shamelessness and intimacy.
