TheFakeItalian This was the second time of seeing Def Leppard on the same tour in two continents, previously in Montreal on 13/9/1996. The Def Leppard gig wasn’t as good as their Montreal appearance. The support was Terrorvision, who I thought they blew off stage. It was from this gig that I started to get into Terrorvision.  TheFakeItalian Saw Def Leppard on their Slang World tour on two continents (this one in Canada) and then in November at Birmingham (UK). Def Leppard was brilliant in Montreal. Def Leppard May 29, 2026
TheFakeItalian First time of seeing UFO headline a festival. Travelled down from Bath just for the Saturday, to see the likes of Iron Maiden and UFO. UFO was showcasing their No Place to Run album. It was great day listening to to some of the NWOBHM bands. Reading Rock Festival 1980 May 29, 2026

Josef Brinckmann Several musicians were recorded live that day (Alex Chilton, Harry Dean Stanton, Penelope Houston, Translator, Jonathon Segel) for the Acoustic Music Project - A Benefit For Project Open Hand... Penelope Houston May 29, 2026
Leahsquirrel I think this was actually at The Showbox downtown, not SoDo. (There is another event on here for The Showbox show if you search.) Joywave / Almost Monday May 29, 2026
Blues-Lover Great show as always with Jules. Music was very relaxing and smooth. Loved the tone of Adam's guitar. Would really like to hear the keyboardist solos. Isaac the drummer we find heavy handed and solos are way to often and long. Jules Leyhe / Adam Levy May 29, 2026

Ron LeSaar Good mix of old & new songs. The crowd was understandably more receptive to the oldies. Unfortunately, the sound at the Moore was muddy with scooped out mids, leaving the kick drum, cymbals, and xylophone to dominate the mix. Bass notes and the lower half of the piano were lost. Maybe it was the room, or the sound engineer, or the Moore's speakers, but most clarity was lost at the 10th row balcony. I didn't see any bass reflex cabs or horns in their array. Joe's voice was in fine shape and the percussionist was on fire. Encores were Scary Monsters and Steppin' Out. Real Men was a standout and the crowd's strong reaction please Joe. Another bucket list checked!! Joe Jackson May 29, 2026
TheFakeItalian A year after seeing their Wembley gig, saw them on the same tour at Milton Keynes Bowl. Line up nowhere near as good as the Wembley gig(with the exception of Gun). Nevertheless it was a great gig. Bon Jovi / GUN / Joan Osborne / Seven May 29, 2026
TheFakeItalian First time of seeing Bon Jovi live. Having listened to Slippery when Wet and seeing them live I was hooked . Van Halen played a good set with Sammy Hagar as vocalist. This was a great gig..Bon Jovi at their best. Ugly Kid Joe / Bon Jovi / Van Halen / Crown of Thorns May 29, 2026
Stevefromhell Absolutely amazing clash of some of my still fav bands. Anyone else remember Alex Skolnick from Testament's god level melodic thrash solos? I bet Dave Mustaine did :) Slayer / Megadeth / Testament / Suicidal Tendencies May 29, 2026
Stevefromhell Nobody else remembers this memorable Anthrax first UK gig? There were a few hundred moshers there so I'm commenting as it was 40 years today! Anthrax May 29, 2026
TheFakeItalian Really good gig with great support from April Wine. The next time of seeing Sammy Hagar was as vocalist for Van Halen at Wembley Stadium supporting Bon Jovi in 1995. Sammy Hagar May 29, 2026
TheFakeItalian Got into Garbage whilst listening to their music in a Bristol Tanning shop. Great debut album and have been a fan since. Travelled up from the West Country and this was my first time I think at Brixton Academy. Great gig. Garbage / The Rentals / Bis May 29, 2026
TheFakeItalian First time of seeing U2. Stage show was excellent with a giant lemon..a lot of fans didn’t like the album. I thought it was really good. I wasn’t well on the day but travelled up from the West Country to see the gig..turned out it was shingles..that’s rock n roll for you..don’t think much of the support acts, but U2 were brilliant. U2 / Longpigs / Howie B / Audioweb May 29, 2026
TheFakeItalian The first and only time of seeing Queen live with Freddie Mercury. A great concert, a lot heavier than what I anticipated given their commercial success at the time. This was one of my fave gigs. Queen / General Public May 29, 2026
TheFakeItalian Took my daughter for her first concert..it was also my first very heavy metal/thrash metal..certainly an eye opener. The band was showcasing their album Subliminal verses, which was probably the only album of theirs I really liked, and I think it was produced by Rick Rubin. I have gotta say that the atmosphere throughout was unbelievable, more so from what I had ever experienced. Slipknot / Slayer / Hatebreed / Mastodon May 29, 2026
Bill Mair Jethro Tull played the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, on Tuesday, May 29, 1973, as part of their A Passion Play tour. Tickets for the show were priced between $4.00 and $6.00. The concert featured support from Brewer and Shipley. The concert was part of a Canadian tour leg that included a show the following night at Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto. Jethro Tull / Brewer and Shipley May 29, 2026
