 GaryAura I was at this gig - Age 17 - Though not many people there - When SLF were on stage the audience just about filled the wooden dance floor area in front of the stage, and the rest of the venue was fairly empty. The Vapors I not remember much as they weren't 'punky' enough, but the Starjets had a good rockin set. I even bought their single "War Stories" - SLF were of course great: Played classics like Alternative Ulster, Suspect Device and Johnny Was - Great night - Very memorable...!!  Hillacris Concert en 2 temps... 1ere partie de 40' environ où pour quiconque n'aurait pas écouté le dernier album d'Alan Sparhawk au préalable, ne l'aurait pas reconnu dans ce rituel cathartique. Lui, voice coder, boîte à rythme, queue de cheval partielle et haute, gesticulations et danse saccadée improvisée dans laquelle le fil de son micro et son pull - dont il s'est délesté lentement pour finir sur sa traditionnelle salopette en jeans, sont devenus des éléments à part entière de sa scénographie rythmique. Le tout, accompagné par un bassiste plutôt discret, était surprenant, étrange et parfois dérangeant ! 2e temps, 45' environ, on laisse tomber les masques, guitare électrique, peu amplifié, basse plus marquée, voix claire... fragilité, solitude, dieu, amour de son prochain... et on revient sur quelques beaux morceaux de Low, sans batterie. 2 parties bien dosées et somme toute, complémentaires.
