 spanishjohnny72 Evito di tornare sulla solita proverbiale (dis) organizzazione vigevanese, perché stasera è stata alzata notevolmente l'asticella (concomitanza con la cerimonia del Diavolo e logica paralisi del traffico, biglietti venduti a cazzo di cane che non corrispondevano a posti esistenti, sedie aggiunte tra gli alberi ecc ). Tuttavia mi domando e chiedo per quale ragione i concerti in castello durano sistematicamente tra i venti e i trenta minuti in meno rispetto agli altri del tour: mi viene da pensare che i cachet versati agli artisti siano inferiori a quelle di altre città, però capisco che cento minuti di concerto facciano un po' incazzare quelli che hanno pagato novanta euro (non lamentatevi più dei prezzi di Springsteen). Passando alla musica - quello che più ci interessa - devo dire che è stato davvero un bello spettacolo, soprattutto per merito dei musicisti sul palco. Il buon Umberto, benché dotato ancora di un'ottima voce, mi è apparso un pochino scoppiato. Certo è stato un gran bel salto negli anni Settanta-Ottanta, quando mettevo le sue canzoni nel juke-box dell'Acli. È stata proprio una serata bella e spensierata, anche se alla ragazza triste non canterò più la pioggia perché venga giù, visto che ho l'acqua anche nel belino.  JohnyCat My first “big” concert…UFO blew me away when the brought down their massive Marshall stacks at the end of their set. Kansas’ keyboardist was super high energy, doing handstands on his keyboard! REO Speedwagon were the big radio hit band at the moment so they were a crowd favorite but you gotta hand it to UFO for being so memorable!  Cleggfan Having been an Armored Saint fan, it was a bucket list show for me! This was the first time they had been to NC in 40 years so it was the first time I had a chance to see them, and they didn't disappoint! I believe they are better now than when I first started listening to them in the mid-1980's. John Bush's voice hasn't lost anything and his energy on stage is awesome. They did several songs off "Symbol of Salvation" from 1991, which I think is their best album, so that was a nice surprise for me. W.A.S.P. also put on a surprisingly good show, with a heavy concentration of music from their 80's albums when I used to listen to them. W.A.S.P. / Armored Saint Sep 25, 2024

Talked to the singer at the merch table and he was incredibly nice and grateful that we came to see them. Chevelle put on a great show, as always. They definitely know how to get the crowd into it!
