Repomn37 Has anyone ever called it The Metro Center? I grew up 5 minutes away and have only heard it called Met Center. It's how it's titled on their tickets. Metro Center Aug 28, 2024

billchilds Could be! There’s a Star Tribune story on August 9 (a Friday) listing them as playing the following Thursday (which would be the 15th), which is neither the date listed on this entry nor your listing date. So I dunno. Primus / Tad / The Smashing Pumpkins Aug 27, 2024
Repomn37 For some reason I still remember Les asking "Why are you here? It's Sunday, don't on't you know the Simpsons are on?" Lol Primus / Tad Aug 27, 2024
Repomn37 I think this date is incorrect. I saw them on August 11th 1991 in the Main room. I'll be creating a page in a minute with photo of the ticket. Primus / Tad / The Smashing Pumpkins Aug 27, 2024

Andy Knoernschild I was there as well, and can verify it was most definitely Fishbone with BB and Murphy's Law that night. Watching an all black rock/funk/ska band as a 16 year old midwestern kid made a pretty deep impression. What an amazing band. I cherish seeing BB on the Licensed tour, but at the time was pissed that they constantly slagged on Iowa. In retrospect it's pretty funny. Great concert memory. Fishbone / murphys law / Beastie Boys Aug 27, 2024
ZuzuLudgate Best birthday ever. Nine Inch Nails / 100 gecs Aug 27, 2024
Repomn37 I truly wish everyone got a chance to see The Grateful Dead. Unfortunately anything after 1995 is NOT The Grateful Dead. There's been some wonderful post Jerry shows played by surviving members. Cherish that you saw their songbook live even though it wasn't The Grateful Dead Grateful Dead Aug 27, 2024
