Deblib Comment submitted on an alternate site: “That is actually incorrect. Palmer Auditorium was torn down in 2015. The last rock concert there was on February 9, 1986 with Bush and the Goo Goo Dolls. The first rock concert at Palmer was on May 24, 1973 with Rare Earth.” Foghat Apr 10, 2024
Jasmine Barnes pauli brought me on stage and i bootscooted dressed as a ketchup bottle 😨😨😨 Pauli The PSM Apr 10, 2024
Scott Knick It was at this show that Loïc (the singer) tried to stick the mic in a cute girl's face who was standing right up front to see if she would scream some of the words and she just froze. Loïc gave her a big thumbs-down right in her face. The Ocean / Der Weg Einer Freiheit Apr 10, 2024
Scott Knick If my memory serves correctly, this is also a show where The Ocean had to perform their material without the singer as he had broken a leg or done something similar. The Ocean / Intronaut / Red Fang Apr 10, 2024
Shining-Star This is Biloxi, MS not Mobile, AL! Sarah McLachlan Apr 10, 2024
cheetahgrrls concert starts 8 PM EST ‪♡‬ OnlyOneOf Apr 10, 2024
Scott Knick This was in the heyday of Blues Traveler's best albums before they got way too commercial. This was a very odd show with a tiny crowd, and it was very memorable as I was a huge fan of theirs because of Travelers and Thieves. This was also when Bobby Sheehan was still alive. Blues Traveler Apr 10, 2024
Scott Knick Great show in a nice venue. I distinctly remember Kottke playing Disco, a favorite of mine. Leo Kottke Apr 10, 2024
Scott Knick Wayfarer put on a memorable show, and then Baroness came out and dominated. They were incredibly energetic and in top form. Baroness / Wayfarer / Destiny Bond Apr 10, 2024
Scott Knick A very quiet, subdued crowd didn't help Riverside make this a good show, and they were about an hour late because their tour manager thought it would be fine to drive a tour bus through the Rockies from Salt Lake City overnight in the winter. Riverside Apr 10, 2024
Scott Knick I took my teenage son. This was his first concert. 311 / New Politics Apr 10, 2024
Scott Knick The show where I learned of and became a fan of Leo Kottke. I vaguely remember a joke (one of many in his dialogues) about Kafka and someone in the crowd laughing very loudly. Leo Kottke / Joe Pass / Pepe romero / Paco Pena's Flamencura Apr 10, 2024
Scott Knick The first concert I ever went to... My mom and her boyfriend dropped me off, and I remember sitting up in the nosebleed seats and the older guy next to me offering me a smoke from his joint. Rush / Mr. Big Apr 10, 2024
Scott Knick A very poorly-attended show, but Vanden Plas sounded good. There were a couple of opening bands but they were mostly forgettable. Vanden Plas Apr 10, 2024
Scott Knick The absolutely loudest show I've ever seen. Devin Townsend was incredible. Steve Vai Apr 10, 2024
Scott Knick Gojira were of course fantastic, but seeing the tall, skinny Kéké of Trepalium looming over the crowd was something else. Trepalium was quite a force. Gojira / Trepalium / No Return Apr 10, 2024
Scott Knick After having seen Baroness in the much smaller (and sweatier!) Raucherkammer next door a few years earlier, this was a massive show in comparison. I remember Baizley was ecstatic because of the crowd when he came out. Closet Disco Queen played a great set to get the crowd going, and it was the first time I heard about the 2-piece band with two members from my favorite The Ocean lineup. Baroness / Closet Disco Queen Apr 10, 2024
Scott Knick 311 were in top form at this show, and it was extremely energetic. 311 / Alien Ant Farm Apr 10, 2024
Scott Knick Very small crowd for such a great lineup. Haken / Bent Knee / Leprous Apr 10, 2024
