 Maciek Right after the gig ended, I made this post on Facebook: "I attended a Swans concert (Katowice, PL). It was very, very loud and my AW kept showing that it was too loud. Before the concert, I saw someone from the band's crew handing out earplugs. I didn't take any earplugs because I didn't understand why. I was so happy that I didn't take those earplugs because with them, I would have heard much less of what I heard. For me personally, it was an absolutely magical and incredible experience. I felt amazing in the midst of the cacophony of sound and was completely swept away by the live music. I'd love to go to another concert, but unfortunately I can't. I was seriously considering going to Zilina in the SK today to attend another concert. Very happy" Swans Aug 05, 2023

 midlandmike The Cure were fantastic...they played around 30 or so songs in 2-1/2 hour. They are the only band I have listened to in the past 53 years with a perfect album...Disintegration...perfect in every way...the writing, the performance, recording quality, mixing, etc...absolutely perfect. A very nice surprise was the opening band, Twilight Sad, from Scotland. They were excellent and a very good opener for The Cure...check them out and support them. That's it for now. Later.
