I am not even sure how I came across this page; I was trying to find out when a band called Fenix TX played at a venue called Jillians in Louisville.  fio ! ⭐️ it was so, so incredibly good and i enjoyed every single song and had the best time (despite almost passing out by the last song) lewis voice was incredible despite him having a cold and having to cough multiple times ! i urge everyone to hear him live because it was incredible.. also his humor is amazing, laughed so much. to the pre acts: i didnt know rachel chinouriri was performing and apparently it was her first time on lewis tour (i also didnt know her before!) but she was incredible and had an amazing voice, the songs were beautiful. I’m so glad we gave her an amazing audience without knowing the lyrics to the songs :D only the poets was amazing as usual, what can i say!  a4angelv We have been to many Judas Priest gigs. We’re not Deep Purple fans so, our point of interest was The Priest. My husband is quadriplegic, so I needed wheelchair accessible seating. The front 5 rows were VIP, $450 each. So, I ordered via a real human, 2 accessible VIP tickets expecting to be seated in the promised front 5 rows: which were simply foldable chairs, easily removed. But, no. We were shoved, literally, on the usual accessible platform on the right, about halfway up the venue. Told not to go near the edge because my husband’s motorised chair was too heavy for the ‘rickety platform!’ Our view was obstructed 80+%. No one gave a flying fuck that we’d paid nearly $1000 for two VIP reserved front section seat areas. We could see empty, removable seats below in the area we’d paid for. The gig itself was bland. We couldn’t see 3 members of Judas Priest. Badly done Ball Arena! We have never received an apology, refund, or any interest in our blatantly phobic treatment. We HATE THAT SODDING VENUE!  Michael Poss After the national tour, the cast for "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown" which included Tom Marks, Terry Keel, Lori Lubershane, Judy Rice, Tom Shoemarker, and myself, Michael Poss (a/k/a Michael J. Poss), revived our roles for Mill Runs Children's Theatre for afternoon performances in 1983. Judy Rice was replaced with Bonnie Sue Arp as Lucy, due to Ms. Rice being cast in another NY theatrical production. If my cast mates are reading this I sure would like to hear from you.  Michael Poss Fond memories being cast as Shroeder in "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown". Harry Lee Rogers was the Director of Mill Run's Theater For Young Audiences Productions. I remember that Harry wanted the guys auditioning to do dance auditions first, then do vocal auditions if you passed the dance auditions. I was no dancer, so I faked the dance steps horribly that the choreographer wanted us to do. I left discouraged and never waited to see if Harry called my name for the vocal part of the audition. As luck would have it, a couple of days later, Harry Rogers calls me and asks if I would like to be cast as Shroeder , because the other guy he wanted to cast, accepted another role in "A Chorus Line". Harry wanted to know why I left after the Dance part of the audition, and I Said I didn't think I had a chance because I thought I was lousy. He wanted to know if I could sing, and I said singing and acting was my Forte, not so much of a dancer. He said you sure fooled me., and said report for rehearsals the next day but I want to hear you sing first. The "Charlie Brown" Musical was my first entry into Actor's Equity and my first Professional Touring PRODUCTION contract. At the time the rate was over $500 bucks a week plus annadded per diem p e r day for meals and lodging on tour. Harry Lee Rogers was responsible in giving newcomers like me my Actor's Equity Card when joining Equity was extremely difficult back in n 1982-83. You're A Good Man Charlie Brown Feb 26, 2023

 Brucefan24 Over three-thousand people stuffed themselves into Terminal 5 for Lawrence’s performance this past Saturday, December 4. Crowds were wrinkled like linen against barricades, balconies, and bars. As impressive as the turnout was, it was not all that surprising. Lawrence is a true New York band. Returning home for on their Hotel TV tour was equivalent to a season finale, guest stars included. Lawrence jumpstarted their set with fan favorites such as, “It’s Not All About You,” and the tour’s namesake, “Hotel TV.” From there, the energy continued to bubble with nostalgic classics. The Hey Arnold theme song, for one, and “It’s Gonna Be Me,” by NSYNC both made appearances. Not only did the band play through most of their discography, holiday songs excluded, they conversed. Between themselves and the crowd, it was as though the genre-bending music was a language native to the venue for one day. And everyone inside was entirely fluent. With roots in classic jazz and lyrics in pop, Lawrence has mastered the traditionalist movement of modern music. Since the 80s, humans have been experimenting with unnatural and technological sounds. Seeing the new heights and pitches one can create is a constant mission, Lawrence is a vast contradiction to that trend. And while sounds are still being created and mixed, there is a growing wave of fans who are audibly salivating at the crisp tone of instruments. While Lawrence isn’t the first band to find their sound in traditional music, they are the first to create thoroughly modern lyrics. From self-conscious empowerment to a feminist conversation between friends at brunch, their lyrics are powerful and adaptable. With or without Gracie’s powerful vocals, Lawrence’s lyrics could caption almost any Instagram post. Perhaps that’s why so many partners and friend groups fought the claustrophobia to dance during the concert. If you missed your chance to see them this time around, don’t worry, Lawrence doesn’t show any signs of slowing down.
