Blue Oyster Cult opened, Charlie Daniels played then announced it would be the first time it ever rained on the stage while The Grateful Dead was playing, The Dead played as it stormed. Gregory Linton	I went to this one alone, Derrick was going to go, but he was really sick at the time. It was an amazing high energy show. Afterwards I remember talking to Kitty and she signed my white sweatshirt, I think I got Lyn-Z and Steve Righ? as well but Jimmy was swamped with fans. I remember telling Kitty about Derrick being sick when I had her sign his ticket, she said with a maniacal laugh,'Oh I'm sick too!" and she didn't mean health wise. Mindless is all about the fans.
