Deand19 RF...You are correct, the Who did play at Folsom Field in 1982..it was Oct however and the played with John Cougar who left after a few songs because the fans in front were screaming "who" but he thought that they were booing him. Then followed by Jethro Tull and they rocked it. I was at both shows as well. Thanks for your comment. Rock on! The Who Apr 25, 2020

Alisdair Just stumbled across this site. I was at this gig as an 18 year old visiting Berlin. We turned up on spec and bought tickets easily. Venue was amazing, right next to the Olympic Stadium, a bit like a natural amphitheatre, big. It was a poor day, Stanley Clarke's plane, we were told over the pa, flew into an East German airport (wrong side of the wall) and the running order had to be re-arranged. There were delays and heavy rain, Clarke played well, I think Nugent refused to play as so many of the crowd had left due to the rain. No time right now but think I have 3 or 4 photos and will post them in due course. Golden Summernight Festival 1977 #1 Apr 24, 2020
