 stephenhuerta 07/05/2026 Update, pt 2: As far as the bands were concerned, all three were interesting, experimental is definitely in order. STRONDO: Definitely experimental, probably the least accessible, they were quite out there. A little low budget, and I probably wouldn’t want to see them again. OUT OF BODY: They were a duo, with lots of pedals and synths. Very repetitive, lots of layered sounds, with tons of echo. I really liked them. Very “sound art”, lots of guitar and beats, a very talented duo. LOS MUNDOS: What can I say, they were fuckin’ great. Experimental psychedelic prog. I’m so glad to have seen them at a small club, this band is going places. They’ve already toured parts of the US, I distinctly remember them playing at The Soda Bar in San Diego, but I couldn’t make it. A bunch of nice guys from Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico.  stephenhuerta 07/05/2026 Update: What an incredible show, and hardly anyone showed up, and it’s their loss. I have another story to share with you. I arrived at The Anexo Independencia around 5:15, all of sudden, a pickup pulls up, and it’s Los Mundos. Keep in mind my friend Román Tamayo told me to say hi to “el Chivo”, Alejandro. So I asked, “who’s el chivo”, Alejandro raises his hand and starts to laugh. I told him I’m friends of the Tamayo Brothers , and that they send “saludos” to you. Once again he laughs and gives me a hug after my introduction. Alejandro, el Chivo tells me you don’t need to be standing in line, “come on in” he tells me. He invited me to sit in on their sound check, most bands done do that, they don’t want to be heard during sound check. I sat in on Los Mundos sound check, and it was GREAT!! True story. I grabbed me a chair and I was set. More to come, right now I gotta check out the FIFA games in the lobby Los mundos / Out of Body / Strondo Jul 05, 2026

 synthetic socks I got to attend because I was hired by a frozen custard company through my SFSU Taichi instructor. It was rainy af, nobody wanted frozen custard so that worked out in my and my coworkers’ favor.
