 Georges A. Gauthier They seem wild but they are so tame. Arcade Fire at the Olympia on 30 April 2025. Arcade Fire have always had a healthy dose of pretension in their music and their live shows. But this show at Olympia began more ponderous and performative than usual. It may be the new material that occupied the first third of the show, or the reduced band; I missed the energy Will and Richard brought to the scene (not to mention the sometimes 3-4 other musicians who used to tour with them). Which is not to say it was bad show. The venue was a delight after years of arena tours. There was artistry in the experiential interactivity and, especially in the latter part of the show, the vibrancy of the music. But it was all a bit more subdued than it used to be. Less frenetic, less euphoric. Maybe it’s middle age: theirs or mine. Although it was a great show, it wasn’t a great Arcade Fire experience for me. Arcade Fire Jun 19, 2026

 NSydneyZen Prettiest concert I’ve ever been to! Artists take note!! I loved the entire concept and the flow of the music was perfect. From the iconic baddie hits, to the nostalgic dance tracks, and to the hard hitting cry songs - emotions were high the entire night. The crowd sang along to every song, it was so emotional.
