Uli Frankonia	Das Konzert von Aerosmith am 30. Oktober 1989 in der Carl-Diem-Halle in Würzburg fand im Rahmen ihrer legendären „Pump Tour“ statt. Die Band befand sich zu diesem Zeitpunkt auf dem absoluten Höhepunkt ihres weltweiten Comebacks, nachdem im September desselben Jahres ihr extrem erfolgreiches, mehrfach mit Platin ausgezeichnetes Album „Pump“ erschienen war. Die Würzburger Regionalzeitung Main-Post nennt den 30. Oktober 1989 in Rückblicken regelmäßig in einer Reihe mit den absoluten Konzert-Highlights der Stadtgeschichte. Aerosmith wird dort historisch auf eine Stufe mit den Würzburg-Besuchen von Queen (1982) oder Tina Turner (1985) gestellt. Konzertgänger aus der damaligen Zeit beschreiben die Atmosphäre in der Carl-Diem-Halle als extrem aufgeheizt und verschwitzt. Aerosmith war nach ihrer gerade überstandenen Drogen-Rehabilitation und dem frischen Release von Pump in absoluter Höchstform.
