 CAPO Great double bill. BOC still is one of my all time favorite bands, During Godzilla behind the stage was a huge smoke belching Godzilla himself. BOC always had killer lighting and pyro. Buck Dharma tore it up on guitar, a highlight his solo during "Veteran of the Psychic Wars". Foghat was great, all white stage, amps, drums as I recall. Of course ended with "Slow Ride".  CAPO I loved the Bon Scott years and I never liked Brian Johnsons voice, personal taste. But I had to see Angus and the boys at least once live. They skiped the phoenix area during their "Back In Black tour the year before so we were are primed to see them. At this point they were the biggest band in the world(popularity wise) and I never experienced such a high level of excitement and anticipation from a crowd except for my first Van Halen show back in '79. Also, for an outdoor show, one of the loudest too. From the first sight of Angus, to the finale, they could do no wrong. One of the highest energy shows I ever saw.  CAPO Second time seeing the Ronnie James Dio fronted Sabbath. Dio's vocals were superb. I remember alot of lighting crosses being used to good eerie effect. The Outlaws were fantastic.  CAPO It's funny how a bands legacy or popularity can change years after they stop being a band, in this case Freddie Mercury's death. This show I attended was during Queen's last ever U.S. tour, and while pretty full crowd wise, was not a sell out, about 13,300 tickets sold out of 15,000. The Phoenix show did better than most stops, Google Queen Hot Space Tour and you will see some shows only sold half the tickets available. My point is the Queen I saw was a popular band but not the Legends they seem to be today. The show was of course, bombastic and great. They always had state of the art lighting rigs and this show was no diferent. Three giant pods of lighting rigs would move all over the stage, really effective during Brian May's solo spot.  CAPO KISS became my favorite band for a few years after my brother brought home Alive! in the spring of '76. It never left our turntable all that Summer. I went all in, like many back then, with the posters, mags, ect. KISS became a way of life for a few years. Anywayfor my 14th birthday my folks got me a ticket, and I went with my brother Tony and his friends, the tag along little brother. Any way the first thing I thought when we got to the Coliseum was I never saw so many pretty teenage girls in one place. Cheap Trick, then an unknown band opended up. What hit me was how loud they were, the bass and drums rumbling in my chest. Rick Nielsen was all over the stage, put on one hell of a show. I remember Robin Zander all in white and Bun E. 's oversized drum sticks when they ended their set. The crowd loved them. When the lights came up I was shocked at how "foggy" everything looked, and that sweet smell, ha! After a while, the lights went out, the mirror ball in the middle of the arena started spinning and for the first time I saw thousands of lighters in the crowd flick on. Out came KISS, and it was a little anticlimatic. I mean they were great but you wait for years and then its over, and it wasn't quite what you thought. I think I built it up in my mind like it would be like the second coming or something. I remember Paul Stanley dedcating "Rock N Roll All Night" to Elvis, who had died the week before. So the lights came back up, and we all filed out, ears ringing with confetti in our hair. It was good. KISS / Cheap Trick Jun 30, 2022
 CAPO KISS was my favorite band from '76-'79. Then Dynasty was released and I moved on to better bands, really. I still give the first Alive! a spin, one of my favorite albums. But anyway, I was bored and spare of the moment got a ticket, which was easy as the aerna was alittle more then half full. I went also because I was a little nostalgic. They were ok. But no Ace, no Peter, no makeup or the excitement of the '70s. Ho hum. KISS / Giuffria Jun 30, 2022

 CAPO Aerosmith was one of my favorite bands growing up in the 70's but never got to see them live until this tour, without both Joe Perry and Brad Whitford. But, while some say the band was lost and phoning it in without those two, this was a great show. I was close to the stage, and Tyler was in fine voice and really engaged, "Dream On" I remember was sublime. Love this show. Dio was good as always. Aerosmith / Dio Jun 29, 2022

 CAPO Last time seeing Rush. They were the only band where I looked forward to the drum solo as it was Neil Peart! Rush always put on great shows both visually and the sound quality.
