 5fives According to my records, which I usually updated the day after the concert, Sevendust didn't play this gig, but Staind did. I know I saw Staind, sometime, and this is basically the only time it would have happened. Maybe they were a replacement for Sevendust, since they both played at the same show in San Francisco, the day before. Nel complesso, essendo sopravvissuto a questa doppietta a distanza ravvicinata e con cinquanta gradi, direi che non sono messo proprio male. Ho preferito la scaletta della night one, nonostante ormai lo show sia estremamente curato e quindi sia passata la fase della E Street Band jukebox, perché togliere No Surrender e Atlantic City non è certo indolore; tuttavia lo show è stato di una tensione emotiva notevole, con anche qualche sprazzo di tensione fisica dovuto a un gasirla del presunto popolo eletto, passato da San Siro a fare il fenomeno. Band di altissimo livello e Boss sempre in splendida voce, senza il paio di cali di voce di lunedì sera (almeno non li ho percepiti). State così davanti è veramente una figata, ma i quattro amici che stavano sugli spalti hanno avuto la stessa impressione di uno spettacolo eccellente. Per tre ore abbiamo viaggiato nella terra dei sogni e delle speranze... Ci vorrebbe un concerto di Springsteen ogni quindici giorni. Da adolescente mi sono fatto regalare il quintuplo vinile del Live 1975-1985, anche se ancora non avevo il giradischi per sentirlo. È stato il sogno, il desiderio di libertà, la ribellione adolescenziale e soprattutto l'America tanto odiata, ma tanto ammirata. Per tutto il resto, vi rimando alle ultime tre pagine di "Accecati dalla luce" di @moroz71 . Pertanto, non posso certo essere attendibile in una recensione; tuttavia, vista la reazione univoca dei quattro amici che questa sera hanno avuto il battesimo del Boss, posso provare a scrivere anche se sono ancora sotto l'effetto di scosse adrenaliniche. È stato sicuramente il concerto più politico dei sette a cui ho assistito a San Siro. Band in gran forma, Boss in forma eccellente - decisamente più di me - e una scaletta da pelle d'oca hanno riempito San Siro di energia e hanno gettato a più riprese vagonate di m*rda sulla testa del presidente che si chiama come Paperino. In una parola sola: monumentale. Anche Little Steven reduce da appendicectomia.  spanishjohnny72 Rapida recensione notturna a beneficio de @ilpoglia , che stava spaghettando e non è potuto venire. "Sembrano depotenziati rispetto al disco": questa frase di @monica_del_piccolo sintetizza perfettamente i novanta minuti di musica a cui abbiamo assistito stasera al Carroponte. Al netto della location inadeguata, con quarantacinque gradi polverosi e la torre del tecnico del suono piazzata con perizia in mezzo ai maroni, il gruppo mi è sembrato tecnicamente valido, ma limitato dalla scarsa voce (o dalla scarsa forma del frontman), quasi più mollo dell'ultimo Malesani. Per cantare un dark che arrivi a scandagliare le profondità più recondite dell'animo umano senza annoiare, devi avere il carisma di Robert Smith. Non a caso i brani meglio riusciti e più apprezzati dal pubblico - che pareva in gran parte uscito da una festa di liceo - sono stati quelli di taglio più brit-pop e ballerino. I ragazzi magari si faranno, per carità, ma non mi pare ancora il caso di acclamarli come star internazionali. Voto (in centesimi, visto che siamo sotto maturità): 66, ma solo perché, come al solito, si è sopravvalutato il PCTO e perché non si danno voti dispari. Fontaines D.C. / Shame Jul 04, 2025
