Davidean Robin Trower was a no-show that night. When we got to the Omni for the show, there was a sheet of paper taped to every glass entry door. Each read, "Robin Trower will not appear tonight." We never found out why. A local band, "Texas," played instead. We didn't much care. The EWG blew us away in our very first arena concert! I will always remember it fondly.  Ken Murphy I met my wife of 43 years at this show. She was there with a friend, and I was with my roommate and I gave her friend our phone number and about a week later she called and left a message about getting together some time. I called the friend back and we met up at my band rehearsal. The rest is history. 43 years .. Hmmmmm, seems like only yesterday. Mountain Jun 24, 2024

Andy Nicholson A good location in fine weather. Facilities ok. Support acts were a little underwhelming and should consider a cover or two in their set to warm up the audience. Perhaps as a result, the crowd were flat when Sting came onto stage. He delivered the classics well, but they didn’t seem to impress. Sting Jun 23, 2024

Gracie Byrd At this concert. Bruce ran the entire width of the stage then, from the stage left, he dropped to his knees and skid on his knees to the middle of the stage. Not bad, not bad at all for a 57 year old! Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band Jun 23, 2024
Gracie Byrd Back in the day 1970-73, Bruce and what was then called The Bruce Springsteen Band (including Stevie Zandt, Gary Tallent), used to play regionally along the East Coast. (Southside Johnny was the band’s roadie sometimes.) Because of the overwhelming support by Springsteen fans, Richmond, Va was a frequented location. They played at several venues, one of which was The Backdoor on Grace St. The door charge was 50¢ - yes, 50¢. We went every.single.time they played - which was usually on Friday and Saturday night 1x/month. One of those times, they played on a Sunday afternoon at The Persian Room. The performance was simulcast on the local radio station WGOE. I have the entire simulcast on reel-to-reel tape. Those were the days :) Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band Jun 23, 2024
